Our Commitment
Compass Home Healthcare exists to care for people in their homes — and that mission doesn't stop at our clients' doorsteps. We believe a home care company has a responsibility to strengthen the communities it serves: the same towns and neighborhoods where our caregivers live, work, and raise their families.
A significant portion of our charitable funding goes to the Compass Foundation, our affiliated charitable foundation. Through the Foundation, and through direct company sponsorships and donations, we invest in programs that improve life for seniors and the people around them.
What We Support
Senior & Elder-Focused Programs
Senior centers, meal and nutrition programs, caregiver support, respite care, social connection, and senior safety initiatives.
Community Events
Festivals, fairs, and celebrations that bring neighbors together, with priority for events that include and benefit older adults.
Youth & Community Sports Teams
Limited support for local youth and amateur community teams.
Technology for Seniors
Devices, connectivity, and training that help older adults stay connected, safe, and independent.
Disease & Health Education
Awareness, screenings, and education for conditions affecting seniors, including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, diabetes, and heart disease.
First Responders in Need
Support for the local EMS, fire, and law-enforcement organizations that protect our clients — and programs aiding first responders facing hardship.
Veterans in Need
Assistance for veterans and veteran organizations — including hardship support, home safety needs, and programs honoring those who served.
How Our Process Works

Submit Your Application
Sponsorship requests: at least 90 days before your event. Donation requests: at least 60 days before funds are needed.

Receive Confirmation
We confirm receipt of complete applications within 5 business days.

Committee Review
Every request is reviewed against our giving criteria, generally within 30 days.

Get Our Decision
Approved and declined requests are notified in writing.

Receive Funds & Recognition
Approved requests are disbursed as agreed; we may ask for a brief post-event report or photos.
Our Annual Budget Cycle
We set our hard budget for charitable giving every November for the following year. We encourage organizations to make their requests prior to the first week in November. We will then make our evaluations and, based on numerous factors, choose those causes that fit our charitable plans for the upcoming year.

Service-Area Balance
Compass covers a large three-state area, so each service area (Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado) has an annual charitable set-aside. Requests are weighed against what has already been committed in that area, so all of our communities share in our giving.

Please complete all fields and attach any supporting documents (event flyer, program budget, or 501(c)(3) determination letter).
Frequently Asked Questions
Submission of an application does not guarantee funding. All decisions are at the sole discretion of Compass Home Healthcare. Compass does not support political campaigns, discriminatory programs, primarily religious activities, raffles or gambling, or for-profit events without community benefit. One request per organization per 12-month period is preferred.
